Jaco, known as the Paradise of Surfing, is an unforgetable beach destination. The water is warm all year around and the waves are perfect for beginners as well as experienced surfers

The Hotel Kangaroo not only rents boards but also provides surfing lessons with an experienced instructor. A 2 hours long lesson costs $40 including surf board.

There are many other surf spots near Jaco and info is available at the hotel regarding surfing in the area.
